Asus ROG Phone 6 Series Launches on July 5; gets 3C Certification
The smartphone maker Asus is all set to intrude into the market with its new ROG Phone 6 series. The gaming devices specialist is going to hit the launching stage on July 5 in China, Taiwan and the USA. Meanwhile, two variants involved in the series have surfaced on China’s 3C certification platform to reveal some information. However, the company has already disclosed the launch date for the same around 14 days back.
The 3C certification site spots two gaming-centric phones from Asus. As per speculations, the upcoming ROG Phone 6 series devices will be the first smartphones to integrate Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Earlier this year, tipster Paras Guglani showed evidence of Asus developing firmware for the phone series under question. It was identified that the company is preparing to bring six models i.e. Asus A12201_A, A12201_B, A12201_C, A12201_D, A12201_E and A12201_F. Also, it was anticipated that the A12201_B and A12201_D devices are likely to hit Indian markets in the form of ROG Phone 6 Pro and ROG Phone 6 Ultimate.
As for 3C certification, two variants are approved against A12201_A and A12201_B. Additionally, the certification site also uncovers that both devices will support a 65W charger. We can recall the inauguration of the ROG Phone 5 lineup, falling in 2021, carrying 65W fast charging support. Hence, it appears that the latest introduction may not be better at charging than its predecessors.
Asus has confirmed the gaming flagship phone to host the following specifications:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC
165Hz Refresh Rate Display
Bottom bezels with a slightly thick top
A larger 6000 mAh battery
Dual Stereo speakers
VC cooling chamber
Therefore, the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 6 series is likely to bring a perfect package for gaming enthusiasts.
