Processor:
Suppose you usually found an Helio A22 or Helio P22 from MediaTek in the low-budget smartphones. In that case, the Oscal S60 Pro is given a small refreshment in the form of the MediaTek Helio A25. The processor was presented in early 2020 and is manufactured using the 12nm manufacturing process. The octa-core clocks at a maximum of 1.8 GHz rely exclusively on Cortex-A53 cores. The GPU is the IMG PowerVR GE8320.
So far, not much is new about the architecture of the SoC, and the performance is also at the lower performance limit with almost 100,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. In terms of storage, Blackview packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space into the budget outdoor smartphone. The storage space is expandable.

The system uses Android 11, and an update to the new Android 12 is unlikely. Blackview packs the additional functions and software features under “Doke OS 2.0”. However, the surface is only marginally different from pure Android. Otherwise, you will find Stock Android on the Blackview Oscal S60 Pro.

Blackview Oscal S60 Pro Camera:
The return of dummy sensors? The rear camera unit has four lenses, but only the main camera is described. This is the Sony IMX258 with a 13MP resolution. The front camera does not need a notch with the 18:9 display, so we have the Sony IMX219 with 8MP.

The SIM slot accepts two nano-SIM cards for dual SIM operation simultaneously, including a microSD card for memory expansion. Many mobile radio frequencies are not supported, but the important bands for Europe, such as LTE Band 20, are included. Other connectivity standards include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC integrated for using Google Pay. Navigation is via GPS, Galileo, Glonass, and BeiDou, as well as an e-compass.
Not every outdoor cell phone is a “big battery phone”, but the battery of the Blackview Oscal S60 Pro is still decently sized at 5580mAh. It is charged with a maximum of 10 watts.
